4Industry information
Stamping die is a special process equipment that processes materials (metal or non-metal) into parts (or semi-finished products) in cold stamping processing, called cold stamping die (commonly known as cold stamping die). Stamping is a pressure processing method that uses a die mounted on a press to apply pressure to the material at room temperature to produce separation or plastic deformation, so as to obtain the required parts.

1. For the case that the number of works is not affected, the punching should be arranged in the back of the project punching as far as possible, and even for the products with a large number of holes, you can consider doing more than one project to punch the holes in the back.
2. The aluminum material is soft and the mold is easy to block the material, so the gap between the two sides of the material thickness is 10% when designing the mold clearance, the straight depth of the knife edge is more appropriate to 2MM, and the taper is 0.8-1°.
3. Bending molding, because the aluminum material is easy to produce aluminum chips when bending, which will cause spot damage and indentation, the aluminum raw material needs to be pasted with PE film, in the case of roller and electroplating, the molding block is better to polish hard chrome plating.
4. For stamping parts that need to be anodized after processing, if there is a pressing and pushing process of 180°, the product can not be completely pressed, and the complete pressing will produce acid spitting phenomenon, and it is necessary to leave a gap of 0.2-0.3mm, so that the acid can flow out smoothly and timely, so the limit block must be done in this process and the calibration mold is higher than the mold.
5. Because the aluminum material is brittle and easy to crack, especially in the case of folding edges, try not to do the pressing line, even if you want to do it, you should also make the pressing line wider and shallower.
6. All aluminum parts are required to be cut with slow wire, to prevent burrs and blanking, aluminum parts are easy to produce high temperature, so the hardness of the punch is required to be more than 60°, at least with SKD11 material, no D2 equal quality punch.
